We are challenging the Rochester (and beyond!) Community to raise awareness during September with the most kid-friendly (and adult friendly, too) dish that is gold in color: Mac & Cheese! Each participating restaurant will offer mac & cheese in September in honor of our Kiddos and will be making a donation to C.U.R.E. as well.

5k a Day with Undersheriff Brown

Undersheriff Brown will, once again, be running a 5k a day during the month of September in honor of a child who has battled or is battling childhood cancer. Follow him on Twitter as he highlights one local child daily.

Add a donation sticker to your Instagram story!

To share a photo or video to your story using the Instagram app:

Tap the camera in the top left of your screen or swipe right from anywhere in Feed.

Take a photo or record a video. To choose a photo or video from your phone’s library or gallery, swipe up anywhere on the screen.

Go to stickers and find the donation sticker and add it to your photo or video.

Search and select C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association (@curekidscancer_).

When you’re ready to share, tap Your Story in the bottom left.

Add the story to your highlights so it will stay there all month long!

To add a fundraiser to a post, add your picture and caption as normal. Just before you share, click “Add Fundraiser” which is located just beneath the location. Search for “C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association” (@curekidscancer_), set a goal, and post as normal!

In the month of September, a portion of Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters’ proceeds from the ever-popular Sweater Weather Latte (White chocolate and salted caramel latte) will be donated to C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association of Rochester at our Pittsford and Farmington stores!

  • Donate blood! Sickle Cell patients and cancer patients need frequent blood transfusions.

  • Purchase and sport our C.U.R.E. gear and wear it around town!

  • Chalk your walk! It’s still nice outside and people are active! write messages of hope on your driveway to spread awareness!

  • SHARE the facts and posts we post on our social media accounts with your network.
