“My grandson was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 2018. After treatment was completed and he was in remission, he was diagnosed with a secondary treatment-related leukemia. Over this time, my daughter and her family have spent over 150 days in the hospital. Throughout this time, C.U.R.E. has been there at every turn, assisting with parking, meals, family visits to help navigate the hospital system, etc. This has taken a large burden off of her family and has been instrumental support throughout this challenging time. C.U.R.E. Childhood Cancer Association is a local organization rooted deep in Rochester that helps, on average, 800 families in the Rochester area annually. Each year, an average of 50 families are halted by a childhood cancer or chronic blood disorder diagnosis. On behalf of myself and my family, we are indebted to C.U.R.E. and the wonderful people associated with this organization.” – Undersheriff Korey Brown

Gifts to C.U.R.E. truly make a difference. Below, you will find examples of how your donation can make a difference to our families:
$250
Can provide 20 bereaved families with the book “Tear Soup” as part of their condolence package.
Can give one family the opportunity to provide a holiday gift to their family, who may not otherwise be able to do so. With added financial strains that often accompany a diagnosis, families are left to choose what they can provide for their family members. A gift of $250 can alleviate that worry from their minds.

Can provide ten teenagers with a $10 iTunes gift card to help them pass the time during outpatient visits.
Can provide 1 gas gift card to a newly diagnosed family - to help alleviate the financial burden of frequent doctor's appointments.
